Once again the Athenaeum Limelight Players are proud to bring you another 'TV to Stage' adaptation, this time the much loved 'DAD'S ARMY' by Jimmy Perry & David Croft. Bringing together all of your most loved characters and catchphrases - "Don't tell 'em Pike!" this production captures the heartbeat of this classic 1960's British comedy gold.
Come with us as Captain Mainwaring, Sgt Wilson, Cpl Jones and all your favorites try their hand at a bit of choral singing, Morris dancing, guarding the crew of a sunken German U -Boat and many other scrapes that is bound to have you rolling in the Aisles.
This Production is in memory of Marine Anthony 'TINO' Hotine. Tino was a local young Marine who lost his life tragically whilst serving for with Alpha Company, 40 Commando in Afghanistan in 2010. There will be a raffle and collection at each performance with all proceeds being donated to the Royal Marines Charity.
