Best Film at this year’s Oscars. Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada in The Great Recession, a woman in her sixties, Fern, (Frances McDormand, also an Oscar winner) has lost everything. She packs her camper van and sets off exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. This thought-provoking film features real-life camper-vanners as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her journey through the vast landscape of the American West.
